# Attribution — every media file on this site

Assembled from [data/assets.json](../data/assets.json) and
[migration/ota-media.tsv](../migration/ota-media.tsv). The Node generator
(`scripts/download-assets.mjs`) could not run in this build environment, so this
file was written by hand from the same manifest — keep the two in step.

Nothing on the site is hotlinked: every image, video and font below is a local
file under `assets/`.

## 1. Property photography (own media, no external attribution)

The hotel's own pictures of the building, the rooms, the terrace, the bar, the
restaurant, the banquet hall and the beach: 27 assets fetched from the
property's own Simplotel CDN folder `hotel-sonar-bangla-puri` (plus one from the
group folder `hotel-sonar-bangla`). Local files:
`assets/images/{hotel,dining,rooms,events,destination,brand}/`.
The property's logo (`hsb-logo`, `Logo_HSB__HSB_Puri_colour`) is the hotel's own
mark and appears here with the owner's authority.

## 2. Platform (OTA) photography — also the property's own pictures

Downloaded from the hotel's own listing pages on the booking platforms, where
the hotel published them. These are not third-party stock photographs and they
are not licensed under a Creative Commons licence: they are included here on the
hotel's own authority, as photography of the hotel, for the hotel's website.
Each file is recorded in `data/assets.json` under `otaImages` with its platform,
remote id and source page, and the raw list of URLs is in
`migration/ota-media.tsv`.

| Platform | Files used | Source page |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Booking.com | 26 (`assets/images/ota/booking-*.jpg`) | [booking.com/hotel/in/sonar-bangla-puri.html](https://www.booking.com/hotel/in/sonar-bangla-puri.html) |
| Trip.com | 8 (`assets/images/ota/trip-*.jpg`) | [trip.com — hotel 11026416](https://www.trip.com/hotels/puri-hotel-detail-11026416/hotel-sonar-bangla-puri/) |

Booking.com's own captions for these frames were used as the basis for the alt
text and captions on the site (for example "a gym with several exercise
equipment in a room", "a lobby with blue chairs and tables and windows").
Trip.com labels its set by facility group: *Gym*, *Restaurant* (5 frames) and
*Conference room* (2 frames).

MakeMyTrip was attempted as a third source and could not be used: the site
answers this build environment with `Access Denied` for both its hotel and
photo pages, headless agent requests and plain HTTP alike. Its photography of
this property would need to be collected from a normal browser session.

Thirteen further files downloaded from these platforms are kept on disk as an
archive but are not referenced by any page. They are listed in
`migration/ota-media.tsv`; add them to `data/assets.json` before use.

## 3. Destination photography — openly licensed (Wikimedia Commons)

Licences below were verified against the Commons `imageinfo` API
(`iiprop=extmetadata`) during this build; the earlier `verify` flags are
resolved, and native pixel dimensions are recorded in the manifest.

Muted, lazy, never autoplaying with sound. Poster frames are property or

## 6. Outstanding at go-live

- [ ] Confirm with the hotel that the platform photography in section 2 may be
served from this domain — it is the hotel's own material, but the listing
platforms' terms should be read before launch.
- [ ] Obtain a photograph of the **Premium Double** and the **ground-floor
Deluxe** room categories; two room frames still reuse a stock interior.
- [ ] Collect MakeMyTrip's set from an ordinary browser session if it is wanted.
