The sea-facing rooms
The first six frames are inside the front-row rooms: the Platinum Double and Platinum Twin Bed with their sliding balcony doors, the view over the railing, and the family rooms on the quieter side of the corridor.
The property in photographs — sea-facing rooms, the rooftop Sundowner Cafe, the restaurant and the banquet hall. Every picture on this page is stored and served from this site.

In motion
Stills carry the rooms; film carries the town. These clips are stored on this site and load only when they scroll into view — nothing plays, and nothing downloads, until then.
Clips load on scroll and stay muted; sound is available through the player controls.
Reading the gallery
Sixteen frames above, and twelve more from our booking-platform listings below — four themes, use them as a floor plan of the property before you book.
The first six frames are inside the front-row rooms: the Platinum Double and Platinum Twin Bed with their sliding balcony doors, the view over the railing, and the family rooms on the quieter side of the corridor.
The terrace frames show the Sundowner Cafe as it actually is — outdoor seating with a clear line to the sea, the bar counter, and the corner armchairs guests claim for the last hour of light.
The restaurant photographs are from the buffet setup: the long table under pendant lights, the full dining room, and the cafe corner that handles breakfast rush and late-morning coffee alike.
The hall frame shows the standard celebration setup — round skirted tables under a high ceiling — the same configuration used for weddings, receptions and corporate dinners for up to 90 guests.
Before you book
Every photograph here was taken of this property, and every file lives on this website — nothing is fetched from a third party when you browse. Three honest notes belong beside any gallery:
First, three of the room frames across the site (the Suite, Premium Double and one ground-floor room) reuse a stock interior photograph, because the original photographer never delivered those specific rooms. The frames are labelled in the room pages themselves. If the room you are considering is one of them, ask us for a recent guest-taken photograph before you reserve.
Second, the aerial, night, gym, lobby, food and conference frames in “The frames guests actually book from” are the same property photographs we publish on Booking.com and Trip.com — downloaded from those listings and now stored here, because our own website never carried them.
Third, the destination photography — the temple, the lake, the craft villages — is by Wikimedia Commons photographers rather than our own team, credited on each page where it appears. It depicts Puri, not the hotel.
Want a specific shot? Write to reservations@hotelsonarbangla.com and we will send current photographs of the exact room category you are considering.
Questions guests ask
Yes — the Platinum Double, Platinum Twin Bed and Premium 4 Bed frames were taken in those room categories. Three categories elsewhere on the site (the Suite, Premium Double and one ground-floor room) currently use a labelled stock interior; the room pages say so explicitly, and reservations can send current photos of any specific room on request.
Platinum Double, Deluxe Ground Floor Sea View and Platinum Twin Bed face the sea directly; Premium Double, Premium 4 Bed and the Suite look at the sea from the side; the Deluxe non-view rooms sit on the quiet side facing the town. The rooms page shows every category with its orientation.
No. Each clip loads only when it scrolls into view, starts muted, and pauses when it leaves the screen. Sound, full screen and captions-in-player are available through the controls, and nothing downloads on a metered connection until a clip is actually played.
The property photography is © Hotel Sonar Bangla — please ask before republishing. The destination photographs and films carry their own Creative Commons licences, credited beside each one; those licences already permit reuse with attribution.
Turn the browsing into a plan
From the booking platforms
Our own website carried the rooms, the terrace and the banquet hall. The aerial view, the façade after dark, the gym, the lobby and the food photographs live on our Booking.com and Trip.com listings instead. They are the property's own photography, and they are stored on this server — nothing on this page is loaded from a third party when you browse.

Source listings: Booking.com and Trip.com. Provenance for every file is recorded in migration/ota-media.tsv.
The photographs are the property; the sound of the surf is the rest. Reserve direct for the best available rate and a room assignment request in the notes.
