1. Using this website

This website is provided by Hotel Sonar Bangla, Puri so that guests and prospective guests can learn about the hotel, the surrounding destination and how to get in touch. You are welcome to browse, print pages for personal use, and share links. You may not republish substantial parts of the content, or use automated systems to scrape it, without permission.

2. Accuracy of information

We take care to publish information that is correct at the time it goes live. Some details nonetheless change without notice — restaurant hours, seasonal services, third-party schedules and travel times. Distances and journey times on this site are approximate.

Where a fact could not be sourced reliably, we have left it out rather than guessed. Where a figure comes from the hotel's own published information, it is reproduced faithfully. Our FAQs give the details we can confirm, including the ones we deliberately do not publish — notably room rates and check-in times.

3. Availability, rates and reservations

Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance, and nothing on it constitutes a confirmed reservation.

There is no booking engine on this site. A reservation is made by telephoning or writing to our reservations desk, or through a third-party booking platform, and it exists only once it has been confirmed by us on the applicable terms. Rates are quoted for the specific dates and room category you ask about, and they move with season, occupancy and festival dates.

Any rates shown on linked booking platforms are set by that platform and are subject to availability and to change. Where this site describes the content of a room, that description is a category description: layouts, furnishings and views vary between individual rooms within a category.

4. Photography

Photographs of the hotel, its rooms, restaurants and event spaces are of the property. Room layouts, furnishings and views vary between individual rooms within a category, and images should be read as representative rather than as a description of one specific room. Any photography of places outside the hotel is credited where it comes from a third party — see the attribution ledger.

Where an image appears on more than one page of this site, it has been reused deliberately to illustrate a room category or a destination, not to imply that one specific photograph depicts one specific room.

5. Third-party services and links

This website links to services operated by other companies — the booking platform, map providers, review platforms and social networks. Those services have their own terms and privacy notices, and we are not responsible for their content or their conduct. A link is not an endorsement.

6. Intellectual property

The hotel's name, logo, photography and written content on this site belong to the hotel or are used with permission. Third-party photography is used under the licence recorded in the attribution ledger. Do not reproduce material from this site without permission from the relevant rights holder.

7. Travel advice and safety

The destination guidance on this site — beaches, temples, road journeys and seasonal advice — is written to be useful and is reviewed regularly. It is general information, not a substitute for local knowledge on the day you travel.

In particular: sea conditions on this coast change with the tide and the season, currents are strong, and drop-offs can be close to shore. Temple access rules, opening arrangements and festival calendars are set by the temple authorities and can change without notice. Follow local instructions, and the advice of lifeguards and temple staff, in preference to anything written here.

8. Accessibility

This site is built to conform to WCAG 2.2 AA. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us — accessibility reports are treated as defects, not suggestions.

9. Availability of this website

We aim to keep the site available and correct, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site without notice.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your statutory rights.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Odisha have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
